Danny Costa has been playing drums since he first had lessons at 13.  By the time he was 15 he was playing professionally with his brother (visit simoncostamusic.webnode.com) in small jazz combos in addition to playing at school.

In his latter years of high school he was playing in big bands, brass bands, jazz bands and rock bands.

By the time he left school he had commitments in 5 bands which all required weekly rehearsals and a gruelling schedule of weekend gigs.  These bands crossed various genres of rock, soul/funk, jazz & military/marching.

In his early twenties, Danny had given up most of his music commitments to pursue a career in IT however he still continued to play most weekends and continues to do so.

Danny currently chooses to concentrate his drumming talents towards educating others while continuing his IT career.  He also plays regularly at his church, EV Church Erina and can be seen most Sunday mornings at their services.

He is also happy to play for your gig!
